I am so excited to be a part of this blog train and to be working with so many other amazing designers. This kit is huge and is awesome. Be sure to download each kit from all the designers for an amazing "Childhood Memories" kit!

I felt a little pressed for time when I created this kit since I had some trouble installing my designing software. I love how it my pages turned out and hope that you do to. I wanted to keep it simple and after designing one page decided to go with the circle theme throughout the whole kit.

My am finished with my first kit "Sophisticated". I had so much fun making and learned so much.

I also made an wax stamp alphabet kit to go along with this, well I actually made this first. I had so much fun doing it and loved the way that it turned out. You can use just one letter or several on any page for a great elegant, but fun touch.

This kit includes: 26 uppercase letters, 26 lower case letters, numbers 0-9, and also the following stamps: ?, &, blank, heart, snowflake, music note.

First Assignment

We have our first "homework" assignment for DIT. We are to create, a kit, QP, something, anything using the following colors. The tile of our project is "sophisticated."

I have a lot of ideas on things I can do or kit ideas but when I got this assignment I was kind of stumped. It took me the better part of the idea to figure out what I should do and find some idea. Well I have that figured out and have been working hard on my kit. It is my first one. I am hoping on the computer when ever I have a spare minute. But, between my 7 month old teething baby who just took off crawling this week, family, work, remodeling our home, etc., life can be somewhat chaotic and those spare minutes are hard to come by.

Bare with my as I stumble my way through photoshop. I have never used it before but am learning sooo much as I work through it. I have created a great alpha set and have created some great papers too. I got stuck on how to save them right, things just aren't working out for me. Today I will work on finishing that up, the elements, tying up some other lose ends and hope to have my kit done by Saturday. I like it so far and can't believe that I was able to do it!

I just finished a digital scrapbooking class on Wednesday this week. This is the first page that I have created. I know it isn't the best and I feel that it was thrown together kind of fast. I did make the paper and added on a few elements besides my own. The class was only 1 hour and I had to leave a little early for parent teacher conference. I wish that I could fix some of the mistakes and change a few things. I'm not able to because I made it on the school computer and layered it all before I saved it as a JPG. But there is always room for improvement right?
